I was told the HS Boys Invitational got rained out and they canceled it??? Did they call it before everyone came in, or maybe start it back later?

at first they posponed it before it even started. Then after they started it was still raining, so we jumped and about three people got over starting height and a couple people sliped off their poles and landed upside down above the box. Then they posponed it again for about an hour, during that hour a lot of people left or went out to lunch. When we started up again there was only six of us left. One guy quit because he got up a little then the pole sliped out of his top hand and it beat the crap out of him. I had to retape my poles about six times to keep them dry, Josh Lubek had to retape his pole. And when you hit the pit it was like a roller coaster when it hits the water and all the water flys all over you and you gasp real quik, exept with this you got the water and some grass. We were all soaked and coverd in grass the whole time we were jumping. It was one of the funnest meets ive ever had though.

Chase is jumping there this morning at 10:00, I think. Should I call him real quick before warm ups and tell him to pick up a snorkel on the way. LOL

The weather is supposed to be great today. With not enough time for the pit to dry, it sounds like all the jumpers today need to bring their towels. :D
