What were the conditions like?
How were the conditions for the meet? It was nice on this side of the mountains. Was it windy or something over there?

The Yakima paper says the girls pole vault was "rain-plagued"
http://www.yakima-herald.com/sports.php ... 4069070025
Holbrook took care of her victory with a clearance of 11-6 and then, with rain making jumping more and more difficult, opted to raise the bar to 12-6. She nearly equaled her career best on her final try.
"After I won we looked around and saw nothing but clouds so 12-6 was a good height to go to. I just nicked the bar on that last one," said Holbrook, who placed fourth here in each of the last two years. "I felt good today, ready to go high, but we just didn't get the weather."
