Since everyone was talking about golf on Mich Greelys thing
do you play golf
how long have you played? for me two weeks two times
best 18? 127 both times
best 9? like 55 or something
I play around too much to be any good undoing bags from other peoples carts and stuff like that I think on my third time I can go 100.

where do you play in California..??
I dont play often, but i would like to, its just too expensive and time consuming in CA.... i can smack it off the tee, then i do my usually 8 putt, i'll stick to vaulting.

I play tennis ball golf. not quite the same but free. It is actually more like frisbee golf. Take a six or seven iron and a tennis ball and hit it around in a park from trash can to trash can, or pick the trunk of a tree for a hole or whatever. Works really good as a team thing, organize into teams of two and play it "scramble" style where you take the best of the two shots and play the next shot from there. It actually seems to help with a normal golf swing as well.
Only problem is park rangers/custodians sometimes and pissy park goers occasionally.

Maybe I wasn't supposed to eat those paint chips?

the first time i ever played was at a park we just went with a couple clubs made holes at each end of the park then we would take seriously about 20 hits to make it across about a 200 yard park but the park was L shaped so you could cut the corner or hit it 20 times like we did. after we left we noticed that it said NO GOLF !!! really big.
