I have a pulled/strained/torn groin, and I haven't seen a sports med for it yet. My doctor said to jsut take asprin which isn't that much help. If anyone has any advice, it would be much appreciated. THis has been ailing me for about a month now on and off. I can make it through a meet or practice, but I pay dearly for it later. Thanks again,
Take a week off hard training! Try to do some really light abduction/adduction work......like 3 sets of 10 with each leg. Also, do some leg press with one leg too. The point is to get your body moving in the right way so that it can heal, so be sure to work clear under your pain threshold. Hope this helps.
