The Plague... Is There a Remedy?

I HATE sticky stuff....I tried it at one point, but the stuff would literally rip the skin right off the palm of my hand when I turned the pole over. I used 3mm super 77 with regular tape. Man, that stuff works good. I heard that Bubka used to use gasket sealer for his tape. I think grip becomes a huge factor once you get on poles THAT huge.

Gasket Sealer huh? Whoa, bet he didn't even have to squeeze the pole...

there were some vaulters from Lacrosse back when that used gasket sealer I believe. It was a rust red color. they said it took forever to wash off thier hands.

lighter fluid works on regular tape because it melts it i think..

i had to use this pole with that black doublesided tape on it today and i didn't like it. it was really sticky but it left a black kind of tar on my hands and i just don't like sticky stuff that much. (old school white tape. maybe a little chalk)
