2013 Athletic.net HS Pole Vault Performance Lists

I will be working on updating the athletic.net lists tomorrow, been trying to tie up some loose ends with other jobs I have before the baby comes.

Athletic.net is more comprehensive than Milesplit.

How would one go about getting an error corrected on Athletic.net?

PV Summit 2013, Boys HS 13, Tristan Slater - actually a 9th grader from WV, Capital High School

For some reason, the results for Tristan Slater, from pit 13 at the Summit have been moved back to the Athletic.net account for a Tristan Slater from Batha HS. Any idea why this would have happened?

Maybe the results got re-published? I think I fixed that manually because reloading the whole file would have literally taken me an hour to re-match all of the schools. I will look into it when I get a chance.

Wanted to add some information for your indoor and outdoor High School girl's performance list. Annie Rhodes (Midway H.S., Waco, TX) should be at the top in both indoor and outdoor so far this year.

Indoor pr this year 13'11.5" (march 7th Boswell High School meet. Although this was an outdoor track meet, the pole vault event was indoor). Below are some more heights jumped by annie in the indoor season.

On January 12th at the Arkansas HS Invitational, Annie Rhodes jumped 13'6" coming in 2nd (Lakan Taylor who placed first also jumped this height. - listed on Annie & Lakan's page also at athletic.net <http://athletic.net/> )

On February 9th, at the Aledo Indoor Pole Vault Invitational, Annie vaulted 13'10" placing 1st (again - Lakan Taylor also vaulted this same height as she came in 2nd).

On March 7th at the Boswell High School Meet (while other events were outdoor, the pole vault was indoor), Annie won with a vault of 13'11.5". In fact, they thought that she had jumped 14' until she was going for the national all-time record and when they measured again felt that they were .5" off. BTW - this is Lakan's home school and the two high school coaches (although Annie is 5A and Lakan is 4A arranged this meet so they could compete against one another).

On March 10th at the New Balance Nationals in New York City, Annie won the gold with a vault of 13'8.5" setting an armory record.


Annie's Outdoor pr this year 14' (Cancer awareness benefit vaulting competition in Killeen, tx sponsored by Dick's sporting goods and texas elite pole vaulting)

On March 6th at the Midway High School practice meet, Annie vaulted 13'1" placing 1st.

On March 16th, at the Dick's Sporting Goods Pole Vault Competition (joining with Texas Elite Pole Vault and Jack Chapman), Annie jumped 14' which tied the all-time Texas HS girl's record. 1st place.

At the Texas Relays this past weekend, Annie placed first with a vault of 13'8.5" setting a new texas relay record in the process. Her good friend, Lakan Taylor who came in 2nd on attempts also vaulted 13'8.5".


Certainly the New Balance Meet and the Texas Relays are the easiest for you to verify, however, all of these were great meets. Thanks for updating your stats to include these results.
