Pole progression

Unread postby thewr80 » Thu Feb 14, 2013 3:20 pm

2 weeks ago i jumped 15'1 with a 15 ft pole maybe about a fist and a half down from the top. My standards were at 77 (my coaches call). Previous to this i was jumping on a 155 15'7 holding about a foot from the top because it was too soft after that. My coaches just bought a 15'7 160 and 15'7 165 both ucs. What do you guys think about this whole progression going on? If i weigh 155 what do you think id max the 15'7 165 at?

A few questions:

What was the flex number on the 15'1" pole you used?
What are the flex numbers on the 15'7" poles you mentioned?

Perhaps I missed something! Height /weight/ run up length/mid??
Its what you learn after you know it all that counts. John Wooden
