Yes, Art took the indoor WR from 3.70 to 3.72 for the 65-69 age divison at the Mid-America meet in Ft. Collins, CO on Aug.28 (where the PV was held inside)! He also had some good attempts at 13'6". Nice job, Art!

Thanks Kay, I had to try and follow your lead with you raising your Indoor World Record. After no heighting in my last two outings (Sacramento and Ohio) it was about time I at least cleared a height. Also thanks for the videos and I will send you a copy of the picture my wife took of us as soon as I get unpacked.

Good on ya, mate!
Way to go Art. I was quite surprised to read of an indoor pole vault competition in August but I'm happy you got past the recent difficulties. And setting a WR is a grand way to do it!

Thanks John. It was about time I did something besides show up and take three misses and sit down! I think I have things straightened out, at least for this week. You were not the only one that was surprised about the indoor competition! My wife and I wanted to get out of the Arizona heat for a few days so I found the Ft. Collins meet and entered. I assumed it would be outdoors, but upon checking in on Saturday I found out it was to be indoors. That worked for me. One more outdoor meet coming in September in San Diego. Why don't you come down, I will get some poles for you to use.
65 & going strong!
