The Indiana State Fair Pole Vault Meet will be held August 13th! The meet will be held on the State Fair Boulevard. This is the street located between the Expo Hall and the Cattle Barn, directly south of the Gazebo. The meet will start at 9 AM with warm-ups beginning at 8 AM.
The cost of the meet is $40, which includes one entry ticket to the State Fair if you sign up before the deadline of Wednesday, 8/3/11. If you sign up the day of the meet, or anytime after 8/3/11, the cost of the meet is still $40, but will not include the State Fair entry ticket. Please visit www.polevaultmeets.com to sign up online or for additional information. Additional State Fair tickets for family and spectators can be purchased online as well for a cost of $8.00.
If you prefer to pay the day of the meet, please drop us an e-mail and let us know you will be attending so that we can prepare heat sheets.
There will also be several raffles drawn that day, including the chance to win one of two Gill poles, a UCS Spirit pole, 12 training sessions at Acceleration Indiana, a UCS Crossbar, A two-hour coaching session at Vault High Athletics or two Practice Packages at Pole Vault Elite. Raffle tickets can be purchased the day of the meet or online in our store.

The list of vaulters and their start times has been posted on www.polevaultmeets.com. The current standings for each group are also posted. If you registered since the weekend, your name will not be on the list but you still will be competing. We will also still take entries the day of the meet. It looks like the weather is going to be cooler than we've had for a month here in Indiana so if you have been trying to decide whether or not to jump, come on out. It should be fun!
