Yes, of course it's a joke. Do you tell your mom all the 'funny' jokes you hear? Do you put them on T-shirts for her to see? If I'm just around guys my own age, I think that slogan is pretty funny, in a HS kind of way. But I'm sure not going to walk around with it on to prove to eveyone that I don't have much perspective on what is appropriate or not. Lots of people visit porn sites, but not very many (responsible) people advertise the fact they do. Rule of thumb: if your grandmother won't think it's funny, don't wear it on a shirt.

as a matter of fact, our track shirst last year said "when we come, its all over" on the back, and my mom loved them and thought they were hilarious.
What have you done today to get better?

Parents

Unread postby jmayesvaultmom » Tue Dec 30, 2003 9:11 am

I must be on the kid side of being a parent! I think it's funny just because it makes people look twice. That's the object of the game--make them look twice. Then if they say anything, you just say--" Gooolly, I never thought of it the way you did O:-) " Yes, I like hearing jokes, and I am the one the kids come to to help them make up slogans and sayings for tshirts for the big game against the rival school, etc.

Stroking it to vertical

Unread postby jmayesvaultmom » Tue Dec 30, 2003 9:58 am

PS...I think that stroke it to vertical in the vault refers to the rowing action in the vault of keeping the pole close to your body and trying to get to vertical. Just think of the crew competitions where you have a guy yelling "stroke, stroke." They are sitting upright with their legs out straight and their rowing action is like the action in the vault. Very appropriate, Becca!

The prototypes were kind of a mint green, so I thought this was an improvement ;)

Actually, most of the jokes I recieve that are remotely funny, are from a family memeber (Mom, Aunt, Dad)

You dont have to ware the tee-shirt around your g-ma. That is unless you live with her.

Anyway.

Its a retarted argument, which will never find common ground.

Im sorry if i desrespected anyone.

Have happy New Year.
