We started with a field of 17, and after the first height of 5.35, we have 6 NHs, and one DNS

Bar now going up to 5.50m, Jeremy Scott starts things off with a miss.

Latest wind readings from Triple Jump are ranging from 0.7 to 4.5.

Oops I just looked away from my desktop and caught the tailed end of someone missing, looked like Quiller.

Finally caught a glimpse of the PV, looks like a fierce crosswind :deadrose:

Derek Miles clears on his first to take the lead!

Kind of sad that anyone can take the lead so early (5.50m), but at this point, the only other vaulter with no misses is Colwick.

Looks like the webcasts are transitioning into field event mode pretty soon. Live TV coverage starts in 5 minutes, but I doubt they will show much pole vault.

Hollis clears 5.50 on his second attempt!

Quiller misses his second attempt at 5.50m and is out with a NH (He had one earlier miss at 5.35)

FloTrack webcast down until 9:00 central. Runnerspace just has the camera pointing at the corner of the track where you can't see anything. :deadrose:

We have three athletes over the bar at 5.50, everyone else still in has missed their first two attempts at this height.

They're dropping like flies :crying:

And the Runnerspace webcast has shut down too, despite the talk of a field event extravaganza :crying:

Derek Miles misses his first attempt at 5.60! My guess is he'll pass?
