Yeah Carrigan I believe was mostly coached by his dad and himself. I'll ask Dick about it today though.

Vaulters in the KC MO AND KC KAN AREA 1984

[color=blue][b]Vaulters in the KC MO AND KC KAN AREA 1980 to 1983

Kansas city Missouri had a hot bed of fine vaulters they were all friends and work together always. Helping each other to do their best.
A really great group of kids I hung with, worked with, consulted on poles and kept a few out of trouble LOL

Doug Lytle:
I had only assisted in the coaching with his PV coach at Shawnee Mission North High School 16’9â€Â

ACHTUNGPV, My hat is off to your old coach. Looks like he'll be loaded next year. With the size of the school, those are some amazing results.

There's no beating Jan, but Mike Lawryk (VERTICAL ASSAULT) has coached some good high schoolers....

Deanna Shuler 12-10
Chelo Canino 12-10.5 (me)
Lauren Tinsley 12-0
Lindsey Regan 12-3.25 FROSH
Courtney Regan 12-0

Way back in the day:
Megan Westfall 11-6
Betsy Matson 11-9
Sarah Adams 11-4

I dont think hes gone a single year in the last decade without winning a state championship or two...

And how about the Rancho Bernardo, San Diego coach Tom who coached Tracy O'Hara (13-3), Natalie Dennison (12+), and Kathleen Donaghue (12-6+) at the SAME TIME?

Or what about the MAD SCIENTIST - Jeff Robbins, who has coached the likes of Sam Shepard (13-4?), Molly Lederman (13+), Ashley Nolet (12-6+), Anna McFarlane (13-0).......

Then there's Rick Bagget, coach of Tommy Skipper (18-3.25), Sara Sasaki (13-0), Corrie Drakulich (12-6) among others....

Hi Rusty, Chase (and everyone else I may know at PVP)

Thanks for the kind words. I am a senior now, graduating in May with AN EXTRA YEAR of athletic eligibility after Princeton. Im looking for a place where I can jump and work on my masters....

See you in Reno? Vertical Assault is taking over 50 people to Reno this year, and we cant wait!

(my apologies for not knowing how to use private messaging...)

in Southern California, the club HIGHER FLYERS has had someone in the state meet for nearly 10 years in a row. KEVIN MAGULA has coached many girls 12 + and has the top 3 girls of all time in the Orange County list. He has either coached or privately coached at least 18 out of the top 25 girls in Orance County history. He has also coached at least 10 of the top boys in Orange County history. Coaches junior college, has had someone win or be runner up in the community college state meet for the past 4 years in a row. He is known in the southern california community, but not nation-wide, but that very well may be changed in the future.

and if you couldnt tell, he was my coach too ( P.R. of 16'7", at Michigan state) :)
