skypole ez-flex legal in high school competition???

One of my students is clearing incredible heights.... on a skypole ez-flex.... is this o.k. in competition??...or is it considered a "traning pole"??

It should be fine as long as it has a normal weight label, not one with a variable weight range.

If he is clearing incredible heights, something is wrong and probably unsafe. We need to abolish such poles from High School competition!

Rhino - I hope that was a little tongue and cheek

Incredible hgt could be 10ft for a freshman or novice vaulter -- regardless -- If it is built and labeled according to the rules - it is legal -- the design of the sail piece should not be the factor that makes it legal or not - that is not how the rule is written

Everyone should be more aware of the tampered or forged labels, the set-up that do not meet the rules, the exposed hard surfaces, the bad box installations or worn surface in front of a box

It is all about having fun, safely, and hopefully vaulting high - could be 9 ft or 19 ft

she......is an 8th grader....

10'6''... this week....

crossing our fingers on a state trip this year...

we have since moved to a new altius.....

but still like to take a few warm ups and a few early heights on the easy-plant....
