Just got one. I like it a lot...it is very heavy duty.

I'm not sure how easy it would be to clean it, but that is the only possible con I could think of.

If you want a nice way to store poles without them getting dinged up, and don't mind spending a little money, then it is a great investment as far as I'm concerned. See B. Mondschien's post about the bags for more detailed info or PM me for questions.

How well do you feel it would handle airline travel?
What did you do to get better today?

As mentioned on another thread, the bags lie flat, which seems to be better for airline travel....I think I read somewhere Tye Harvey endorsed it for easier airline travel with less abuse. I hope I'm not misquoting anyone there.

They are not as bulky as regular bags which is a plus.

We just returned from California via. Southwest Airlines and the Rock Back Bag did great. It even did well in Cali when it was run over by a semi after having become airborne off our van! And believe it or not, four poles inside the bag were no worse for the wear. Bernie makes a quality product!

Careful with the zippers! Great bag, but I had a little over anxious frosh get one of the sleeves stuck in the teeth and no more zipper.
