First Meet 14'8"

FIrst meet of the year. didnt even know if I would be able to vault because i had hamstring problems all week.

height: 5'11"
weight: 160

FIrst jump: 14'0" walk up 5. Pole- 14 170 grip 13'6"
Second jump: 14'6" walk up 6 step. Pole 15- 165 grip 13'10"
Third jump: 14'8" same as last jump

Any help appreciated

Nice looking vaults, but your pole carry needs some work. Don't let your arms swing the pole forward and back as you run...let your elbows move up and down and act as "shock absorbers", without the herky-jerky action of the hands and pole. You and the pole need to be a "single unit". This is much easier to practice during pole runs than on the runway. Keep your left hand near your chest, and your right hand near your right hip, all the way until you start your plant at 4 strides out from the box.
