This is something that I can personally vouch for.
I did tons of stadium stairs ... Husky Stadium is a huge horseshoe ... and I probably did too many of them ... I did the full stadium a couple times a week ... too much of an endurance drill rather than a sprinting drill ... altho I did SPRINT up each rep with high knees ... the only way you can do them properly ... I hated them ... I only did them becuz my coach said I HAD to .... but the hard work did pay off ... and I could run half-decently after a couple of years of this type of intensive training.
