Skipper Signs With Oregon... Again

I didn't know who he was talking about, im sure with the luxuries of Oregon University, more competition, better meets to jump at, more total meets, and staying healthy. Im sure he will have no problem jumping 2-3 inches higher, ive never seen jump so i dont know if 19ft is around the corner? But from what i hear it is very possible! Besides Maksim has anyone else jumped 19 at 18 years old? he could be the 2nd.

Their was a video that someone had of him clearing his P.R. It looked like he had room to so i think he can make it.

I'm pretty sure Tommy was 19 his entire senior year, and just recently turned 20. Maybe someone can confirm. His Junior eligibility is probably over now. :crying:

Maxim Tarasov jumped 19' at 19 :yes:

, and I heard Bubka did also. Don't know if it's true about Bubka though. No one else has ever done it. Maxim holds the World Junior Record.

Lawrence Johnson holds the American Junior record at around 18' 6". :yes:

So skipper cant compete at junior nationals or worlds this year? What the hell am i saying hes going to the trials anyways...

i remember back when Bubka won his 6th world title that they said Tarsov jumped 19 at the age of 19, i believe he has the world junior record also... can anyone verify?

FYI: LOJO's 5.71m is 18' 8 3/4". Pretty impressive either way. :yes:

Also, Jacob's 19' 4" vault could not have been at age 19, otherwise he would hold the World Junior Record instead of Maxim Tarasov. Heck of a jump at any age though.

One thing is for sure. If your name comes up in the same conversation with any of these guys,... "You're a Stud!"

Jacob davis did jup 19'4 when he was 19, but the records go by theyear you turn 19 not when you are 19. So he probably turned 20 that year, but he did do it when he was 19, Because we are the same age and I juped 19' a year after jacob did.

If that is so, THAT REALLY SUCKS! :eek:

So if it is so, we'll use my son for example, Chase is 18 yrs old and turns 19 on May 9th. His eligibility for Junior records ends following the 2004 season, and not on his 20th birthday which is most of the way through the 2005 collegiate season?? :crying:
