If you are talking about with a pole, then crazy fast 10m/sec is 3.00, damn fast 9.5m/sec is 3.16, fast 9.0m/sec is 3.33, and minimal for a college guy 8.0m/sec is 3.75.

Regardless with or with out a pole I am dirt slow, I think my fastest 30m fly was 3.70s, pretty damn slow.
ahh San Diego: women, sun , beaches, pole vault, what else do you need.

I used to run mine faster with a pole then i did with out. I guess I relax more and run a little better. But i also ran a 4.31 standng 40 without a pole once too. I never had a problem with speed.

I ran about 3.15 with pole and pretty close to the same without. never real consistant without but was very consistent with the pole. I guess thats a benifit of do alot of approach work and pole runs. I think i am a more efficent runner with a pole.

I had 2 high school 14' guys run 8.8 m/sec without a pole and about 7.9-8.0 m/sec with a pole over a 15m "speed trap".

Yeah my flying 30 was always pretty fast. My pr is 5.50 (on multiple occasions), and I ran 1st leg on my college relay team (we ran 40.08 with terrible hand-offs).

Would someone mind explaining what a flying 30 is? And do you do them with or without a pole?
