Can anyone tell me the difference between the USATF Jr. Olympics and the AAU Junior Olympic games for Track and Field?
Which do you recommend I compete in? Any Info would be appreciated.

just two different groups creating their own national championship trying to make money. Usually USATF has better competition.
pain is only temporary victory is forever

There are also a couple of qualifying meets you must compete in and finish in the top three or so in to move on to the National meet. Usually a state meet and a regional meet. Like Nitro said USATF will have better competition and kids jumping alot higher most of the time then the AAU meet.

Just depends on what your goals are and how convenient the qualifying meets are to you. If you have a good chance at qualifying to Nationals in either meet, but one national meet is a lot closer to home, while the other one it too far away, then pick the one closer to home.
