Sam Ewing opened with a 15'09" first attempt clearance. Made 16'03" on his second attempt, then cleared 17'00" on his first attempt. He was on a 15'03" 14.7 flex Altius Carbon Extreme holding 14'09". This was an indoor meet so it won't count for outdoor lists, but it did break his school record (set by me in 1988) of 16'08".

McKinley Rea opened at 11'03", making it on her 2nd attempt. She cleared 11'09" and 12'03" on her first attempt.

Congrats Sam and Morry. If I had known about the meet we would have driven over. Jack's meets have been cancelled because of weather the last three weeks. No practice either. Again way to go.
