Re: 14'6" - Need New Pole?
Nice PR! 14-6 is over your grip ... slightly ... when you subtract the 8" in the box.
But I think you should lower your grip and focus more on inverting ... not by rocking back "better" ... but by fixing all the little things in your run/plant/takeoff/downswing.
Although you might have just bought it, your new pole is already too soft. Once you lower your grip, etc, you'll need a bigger pole when you raise your grip again. Don't be in too much of a rush to raise your grip. Learn to vault first!
If you had a better takeoff and swing, you'd break that pole for sure. That's why you need to lower your grip. Even if you have a heavier pole, I wouldn't go to it just yet. That can come later.
Don't worry about your "rockback". That's not where your flaws are! Besides ... there IS NO ROCKBACK!

Re: 14'6" - Need New Pole?
I agree with the points Kirk made. On your 14'6 jump I think you could have done a slightly better job getting taller at the plant with big arms. I also think you could work on a longer trail leg in addition to Kirk's emphasis on inversion.

Re: 14'6" - Need New Pole?
Looks like you're waiting longer to extend on the 15' jumps than you did on the 14'6" jump. You should extend out as soon as you "get back" for lack of better words to explain it. If you just wait to extend out youll lose some of the momentum you would have had from the pole unwinding.
Anything not worth doing is worth not doing well. Think about it.
