Unread postby smokinvaulter1 » Sat Mar 07, 2009 4:39 pm

Jack just broke Joe Dials state record as he jumped 17'10.75" at his first outdoor meet of the season. He made 3 good attempts at 18'4" also. Congrats Jack.

Oklahoma has a lot of dumb rules concerning this I do not want to go into detail about. No we will not go we are done indoors. His goal is to break skippers record now 18.03 outdoors. He was over 18.03 1/2 two times hitting it coming down.

It was a good day to jump in OKC, 72 degrees, overcast and about 20 mph tailwind! Jonathan Pr'ed at this meet as well. Thanks Jack for loaning us one of your poles. I'm sure you'll get the record before the seasons over.

I'm as proud of you as you are of him!

He must have cleared those first couple of bars by a mile, eh?
