At this point, my goal for Reno is to get there....I went last year, and am really hoping to go again this year, but still havnt found out if i can....
Champions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them-a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have last-minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill. - Muhammad Ali

Talent in cheaper than table salt. What separates the talented individual from the successful one is a lot of hard work.

Pay your own way if your school won't send you.

I wouldn't be able to afford to go to Reno, though I would LOVE to go...oh well, eventually...

my goal is to GET to Reno. To my knowledge the summit is not a qualifying meet for the NCAA. Many schools might not go because of this. AND many schools will still be on Winter Break. Reno was scheduled much too early this year. But im going either way! hope to see everyone there.

I like that it is earlier. I will only miss the first 2 days of classes. Those are the best days to miss, all they do is hand out the syllabus.

I don't know if my school will send anyone this year, but my coach will be there since he is on the USATF staff.

Don't they have a drop/add period? Even if they assign work from day 1, usually it is drop/add so there is kind of a grace period because sometimes people add the class late.

Yeah they have a short add drop period but having only 11 weeks in the quarter they dont give you to much time.

I couldn't tell you the work isn't that bad yet but we only started last Thursday, I heard that UCD is pretty hard. It is a nice campus but it is in the middle of nowhere. Well I guess it comes down to you, pick your poison.
