I wonder what the maximum number of vaulters is they would take to finals? You would think that if only 13-14 make this height that they would take them all... I wonder where the cutoff is.

The pole vault is running WAY later than the rest of the track meet, and it is late at night there (almost midnight!), so I am inclined to think they will be more generous

They must have amateurs putting the crossbars up on Pit A.

It's those automatic standards where they are electronically raised and lowered. I think the holdups have been from the pole holder.
