Damn! :mad: I said two months ago that I'd be disappointed if the silver didn't take at least 4.90, and I was right. I am very disappointed. :crying:

I think she would rather get the 6 world records between 5.05 and 5.10 than make a bigger splash at the Olympics. 5.05 or 5.10 I think both would get her similar amounts of attention in the mass media.

Second attempt at 4.95. Lots of height but hits it on the way down. She looks upset.

Ok, I'm new to pole vault. What happens if she's passed the previous height but misses all 3 at this one?

She'll be done for the night and scored for her final clearance - 4.85.
