question on rock back
I have been told that I need to rock my legs back farther because I am just parallel to the pole. How far do my legs need to be rocked back before I invert? Thanks in advance

Swing through from behind the pole, hit the chord of the pole with a straight trail-leg, break at the hips gradually, COVER THE POLE (as in get your feet next to your top hand), then shift your hips up to your top hand, then begin the pull-turn, to push-off, to fly-away. If you ask a lot of Petrov followers, they will say that there is NO SUCH THING AS 'ROCKBACK'. Call it what you want to call it, but don't think of inversion as 'rocking back', think of it as 'swinging to, and shooting upward'.
