Top End
I was wondering if anyone can help give me some information about my top end. I have a good plant take off but when I swing up, Im flagging off really BAD! I see my right hand and my feet when Im trying to invert but I never get totally upside down because my legs shoot down on the bar. Does anyone know of some good drill work or gymnastics that I can do to fix the inversion part of the vault? thanks!

There have got to be literally hundreds of posts on this forum about the top end, and all of them really come down to this: the "top end" is a phase almost completely dependent on the phases before it. So this means that there is an overwhelmingly good chance that there is a problem with your swing. Video IS always helpful.

yeah im working on uploading a video I have heard a lot of coaches say that I have a very good run, plant and take off. But i havent really heard anyone tell me that my swing is slow. Is it possible that I could be not swinging to inversion fast enough? Thanks for your help!
