2nd Annual Helena Street Vault
Street Vault in Helena, MT this Saturday the 21st. Registration is the day of so no worries as far as that goes. I think it starts at 2:00 but not sure. Check the website www.teammontana.com All the info is from last year but the contact info is recent and the coach is pretty good about quick responses. Should be fun. I heard through the grape vine that there will be an 18 footer and 4 or 5, 17 footers. I will be in Missoula on Friday and drive up to Helena on Saturday. If anyone wants a ride just PM me. Hope to see you all there.

Idahoans soar at street vault
By CURT SYNNESS IR Sports Writer 7/22/07
The second annual Patrick Kelly Street Vault took place yesterday at Pioneer Park, with two Idaho vaulters tying for first place. Paul Litchfield and Levi Keller both soared 17-feet. Placing third, with a clearance of 16-0, was Montana State sophomore and former Capital High state champion, Bobby Biskupiak.
The women’s division was won by MSU’s national champ, Ellie Rudy, who cleared 12-6. Rudy went 14-1¼ as a redshirt junior to capture the 2007 NCAA Indoor title, and followed that up with an All-American fourth-place showing at the outdoor nationals. She feels that pole vaulting “is more of a mental sport than a physical sport.â€Â

Last year it wasn't a for sure thing until like two weeks prior. Go to the website, it has the information on the 2006 vault but the contact information for the guy who runs the meet is all recent and up to date.

It was super fun last year and there was lots of good competition. Hope it happens again and hope to see everyone there. I'll keep everyone updated as soon as I find out more.
