Can anybody identify the brand of pole this Cuban decathlete was using at the Pan Am Games?
I think it may be one of those old Nordic Graphite poles. Haven't seen one of those since like '87. I can't quite remember what the label on those looked like though.

Those were some great poles, at least the ones that didn't blow up. I still have a 4.50 M Feather Flight. Ted made it for me when they were still in the old Skypole factory in Costa Mesa. It's one of my best poles. Too bad I'm too slow/old/weak to use it any more.

Ted made some great poles over the years at Skypole costa mesa. Some of his earlier carbons where great. They did have some that blew up but the poles were some of the best made if taken care of.
HAve you seen Ted lately?

black pole
at first I thought it was one of the black catapoles we made in UTAH in 1996 at Catapole Dallas.
This label is an old nordic pole label the plus series.
