CIF-SS ASSOCIATION RULE TO BE ELIMINATED

(LOS ALAMITOS) – For the first time in 32 years the CIF Southern Section will eliminate out-of-season restrictions
on coaches working with their student-athletes. In a 41-37 vote of the CIF Southern Section Council, Rule 313 of
the CIF Southern Section Constitution and By-Laws (otherwise known as the “Bluebookâ€

this will be veerrry interesting to see what other sports strongarm their athletes into staying into their sport. year round football practice.. you leave practice for another sport you lose your starting position.. etc.

but it also means socal vaulters can now finally compete with the rest of the state that trains year round! yay!

the west coast is very fortunate. i really wish we could vault year round in FL. but sadly once the seasons over all pits must go in, unless your in a private school
