No one knows what the meaning behind the numbers is yet. They were a winning lottery number, the entry code for maintaining an unknown (at this point) electromagnetic device, etc...basically every single number on the show is either one of those 5 numbers or a variation of them (for example, the entry code had to be entered every 108 minutes. 108 is the sum of all 5 numbers).

So, having never seen an episode of Lost, I am assuming it is like Myst but a television show?

Sounds like I let the cat out of the bag a moment too soon...would have liked to see what you came up with.

If this was a hint could it be Rocky Danners? He would certainly fit the bill in terms of someone who should have kept jumping after college... definitely had the goods to jump 19+

BTW, nice web site Russ!

Ive been trying to dig through lists and see who disappears from the US top 100 after 2000 and has connections to Lubbock TX which appears to be where he coaches. The only one I possibly can see is Shane Stewart?

Why the Lubbock connection? No one in their right mind willingly lives in Lubbock...well, that's assuming he's of sound mind...

this guy is really smart, when you read the board there are two shades of background colors and it needs to be the darker one to post invisibly on...clever but not impossible
