How do YOU bend the pole??? What you like and how YOU load are 2 different things. Then theres the CARBON factor, a faster pole (returns more energy) than any other pole on the market, and is designed to bend FULL (of course how YOU bend it could vary depending on the efficency of your takeoff).

Interesting advertising - also seems Mikey only responds to a certain very narrow area - Seems one manufacturer actually had this topic covered a few years ago in their catalog - color would only be significant if it means different material that actual contributes to pole performance is used - in the past graphite or carbon powder was added by some to claim use but since no actual fiber or material property advantage was gained it could be viewed as a sales scheme - what works best for a vaulter will always be what is best for that vaulter - what a vaulter wants is a pole they can roll over - get in the proper position and get some energy back from - yes you can engineer a great pole (depend what you call great) that is nearly impossible to use by a human - what you want is a very good pole that works for the majority of the vaulters - and transitions into poles that only elite vaulters use - all the top pole manufacturers use engineering prinicples in design :)

I do not own a computer and I use other peoples computers so I do not get on here much. I am in California now at my Step Dads.
I use a Pacer FX pole my Dad bought from Personal Record Sports the one your company makes. Not sure why you would say what you said about me?

Well held an Essx 15' carbon and the weight felt very similar to the 15' Pacer Carbons I jump on at school. Also picked up a 16'9 220. Not sure how that compares though :P . So Essx does indeed make carbon poles.
