It is supposed to be a USATF sanctioned meet. A big thing for these meets would be having the ability to warm up with over 20 vaulters and come in at 14+, at least for Nike. If your PR is 14'7" and the cutoff is 14'8", but you know you can come in and make 14' no problem, then do it. Likewise if you have jumped 15' once but only 13 or 14 at every other meet, you might need to think about whether you can handle coming in a littler higher, because otherwise you might be wasting a trip. Just be prepared because i hate when everyone signs up for national meets and NH. They wont verify that everyone was at a USATF sanctioned meet when they got their PR, but unless you can come in at 14'+ there isnt much point.

You might consider going to USATF nats in NYC at the Armory. The cutoff is like 13'6 and you can come in at 12'9 or so.... i dont totally remember. But that might be a good idea if you are still looking for a national championship that you could easily compete in, and then maybe the next year you could go to Nike and already have a national competition or 2 under your belt. Just an idea.
