I think it's understandable given how unregulated the supplement industry is. An athlete failing a test and blaming a sponsor is just bad news.

This is how European TV coverage is. The best meets I've ever seen in the US used the EuroSport video feed.

For some reason, those in charge think US viewers want to see a background story on the winner, an interview with every winner that is out of breath, and only 1 attempt in each field event. Too be honest, I don't watch track on TV. I can't stand the pain. The WCSN(?) Internet channel has been a great though and the Versus TV coverage for worlds was good too. Too bad once you're on Versus, you know your sport is marginalized.

About two weeks ago I was asked to leave the track at Clermont, Florida “because I looked like a professional coach!â€Â

by the way the "Dennis" i mentioned is Dennis Mitchell, former sprinter and maybe the best 4 x 100 relay runner the USA has had.. He has a contract to do private coaching at the clermont facility simular to what bobby heack and i had with them a fews years ago..
