inner calf muscle hurts so bad when i jump! Help me plz!

For some reason for the past 6 months my inner calf that runs right up my tibula can anyone relate or help me out.

RICE your legs, as in rest, ice, compression, elevation.

Go to a pediastrist and get some prescription orthotics to correct the way your ankle and arch are shaped. I love the same issue.

do you strike big toe or little toe side of the foot first?



If you strike big toe side first your ankle and shin need to be strengthened.


Work on striking little toe side first while walking and then it will transfer to your running and it should start to go away.

I have the same problem. ive been vaulting for about a year and a half, but it never bothered me untill just this year when I started track. now that Ive been sprinting alot more the inside of my calf hurts. ice has helped me, and just getting stronger has made a big difference
