Hey Guys and Gals - FYI - the meet hotel is sold out of the discount block at $129 but they booked me at their Marriot in Newton (9 miles away - no shuttle) for $109. If you want to stay in the main Marriot anyway it's $299. I figure I can take a cab with the savings. Have a good one. Bubba

So the Sheraton was booked up, too? It's right next door to the Marriott.

There's also the Radisson on Stuart Street and the Milner (much cheaper and smaller digs, but actually ok...it's the hotel where the 9-11 terrorists stayed the night before flying out of Boston...I'm not joking). The Milner is right across the street from the Radisson (nect to New England School of Law where I work).

Souleman & Bubba-- Master & others
It was great to meet a bunch of you at Boston
Bubba-- the Texas contingent was a great focal point for
a bunch of us (with no contingent) tho' I did also meet up
with several other vaulters from Michigan/Ohio Meets and
the National Senior Olympics.
I want to thank Bubba for the sage coaching advise when I was
vaulting-- My guess is I made that last height and got the bronze
because of your suggestion to move the standards back.-- Thanks
It was a fine meet -- I'm glad to hear Boston will be doing it again
next year. I hope to be healthy and there.

I'm going to Elgin Texas Lions T&F Championships (also South Texas Masters Regional Championships) to kick off the outdoor season.
and visit my brother in Austin.
Bubba- is the leg better and are you jumping in this meet?

Howard, It was great to meet you too. I'm already looking forward to Charlotte . I've got family down there so it looks like my attendance there is a lock. I'm really hoping to jump better there than I did in Boston. I might look at throwing a javelin too. Keep in touch. It's so great to be able to put faces with the names. Later..........Mike
