my parents liked the fact that I wanted to go to Reno. it was just my gf who was against it.

to argue w/ breaker about that misconception gettin you nowhere......a buddy of mine who really is a nice guy takes the conceided asshole approach solely because it gets girls. and hes gotten a fair share of hot girls, much more than your average 'nice guy', thats for sure. but who wants to bet that nice guys end up w/ better wives....considering im not married yet, i couldnt say.

back on topic for Reno, though: is anyone going looking for a roomate to cut the costs of the room more? I'm in teh search of someone. Obviously it needs to be a guy, even though it could be a girl

but of course, I have a gf, so yea, it wouldn't be right (damnit), but yea. anyone looking for a roomie?

I have a Question. My girlfriend and mom are going with me to reno. Do they have to fill out registration form and check the parent box in order to watch me compete or what?

she'd only have to register if she is going to attend the parent seminars or wants to go to the elite competition.......

I haven't made my arrangements yet, but if i do go i'll probably be splitting aroom with one or two other guys, but the floor is always open for anyone who needs to crash and wants a free place to stay...

it would be kind of stupid for UCS to make people pay to watch the 2nd day competitions
