Unread postby KYLE ELLIS » Wed Jun 18, 2003 1:09 am

HEY I DIDNT KNOW YOU KNEW WHO I WAS OR MY DAD UNTIL I TOLD HIM SOMEONE ON THE INTERNET WITH DACAMOUSE AS THEIR SCREEN NAME KNEW YOU. ANYWAYS FOR FATHERS DAY I TRIED OUT HIS NEW POLES HE GOT FROM YOU AND THEY WERE PRETTY SWEET POLES. I WAS NERVOUS ABOUT JUMPING ON CARBONS WRAPPED IN BLACK TAPE!

dude, either take your pinky off the shift key or turn the caps lock off. do you understand how annoying it is? usiing all caps on a message board, in an email, or in IM is the equivalent of yelling. imagine someone yelling everytime they spoke to you. not very good netiquette.

never mind, thats MY happy place, yours may be different. I agree with ash, use caps to MAKE a point not all the time.

Black tape was one them for reason - allows me to keep track easier nd makes them look different - real question is who is vaulting higher? You or Ken (Dad) -

I've been lurking in the shadows on this one and can't hold back anymore.

Ken Ellis was my first (only) coach in high school (freshman year). Took me from about 7' to 10'6. Great guy and pretty much stud athlete all around.

Kyle - I remember you in diapers!

Decamouse is the man. I overheard my coach and another master's decathlete (Russ Acea) talking about you at the all-comers meet tonight  Your backyard pits are legendary ;) Didn't you say that you had to sell your awesome backyard?

In the process of selling now - looking for the next backyard down here in the flatlands - have some potentials - need to keep the better half happy and then hope for space for my toys - rumor has it that PVJunkie hot new board runway will end up in the new backyard - for me this has been a down year - alot going on - sometimes T&F (me competing) takes a back set

Kyle-

I have not lived in OK since 96' so I doubt you would remember me. Have not jumped since 93'. I used to be the coach at Edmond Memorial and then Edmond North. We had a couple of guys over the years ;)

I bet Kyle is jumping higher after seeing his performance at the OU outdoor meet last Apr. Good job!

I barely recognized Mr Ellis, I remember seeing him everywhere in high school and college.
