I'm partial to accelerators, hard to find though. carbons are light and dont kick use slow vaulters. spirits pretty good as are regular glass pacers, although pacers arent as easy to press into as spirits. carbon skypoles are fun but heavy. altius stink because I won a free altius in a contest and I never got it. nordic are heavy big and stiff. skypoles feel slow and stiff to me, but there good to learn on. same with rockets. Old yellow catapoles are real good if you can get on one. black cats are old and scare me( got a 15' 135). Pacer III's rock... if they don't break. I've jumped on three Pacer III's and they all broke. same with older spirits. never used a fibersport, maxima, big stick, Pacer/Carbon FX, new catapole and other various cats, essx( just cause I need a 16 and haven't found one yet, but they look real cool), trainer, or lady poles. my favs are spirits, but if I could get just the right size accelerator...

by the by Im a 5'10 150lb slow, swing vaulter, on either 15' 160 (holding 14') or 16 160(holding 14'5-7) spirit at 6 lefts.

last time I ran a 100 it was in the 12s but that was 4 or 5 years ago. basically in any decent collage of 15 meet I would be one of 3 slowest. Jomrus could probably tell ya.

I'll be at the Oshkosh West Regional/Hartford Sectional. Our team is mostly Pacer and FX.

Yeah, I think I'm the biggest vaulter in the conf (175) so it's tough getting me poles. And now I'm blowing through them :( .

Is the waterford region d1? who's in it?

What weight is it?
If you could hook me up, that'd be awesome. My coach has been checking all over the state. closest we've gotten to 14' 180 is a 14'6 and im not fast enough for that.

A 14'180 would be best for me. Are you going to be in wisconsin this week, though? Cuz I have regionals tuesday and sectionals thursday...
