Altuis Poles - Patriotic!

Unread postby rainbowgirl28 » Sat May 24, 2003 3:08 am

So I have been to a few district meets since I have been home. Altius poles are big out here. I have noticed the new ones are starting to look very patriotic. Some of them are white, with silver labels, some are blue with a white spiral (or maybe it is white w/ blue spiral) and some are red with a small white spiral. Better looking than baby blue IMO :star:

Just Becca's random observations :D I like pretty poles ;)

I have vaulted with an altius before, and I am used to vaulting with spirits. I thought that they felt the same on the takeoff and rock back and the had a nice bend, but they came back with more force and threw me a lot more. They are really thin but also really heavy.

One of the high school girls whom I coach just switched to an ALTIUS 2 weeks ago. She PR'd at the conference meet, winning at 9-0. She's done 9-6 in practice on it, and I think could go 10-0. She's a Junior. Paul Richards and Tim were very helpful with pole selection and exceptionally informative with all of our questions. They shipped the pole very quickly too. That's the first ALTIUS we've bought but it probably won't be the last, given how well they treated us and how well the pole has worked out.
