Gill Elite Pole Bag

Unread postby greg4fitness » Wed Mar 15, 2017 8:29 pm

Does anyone have the Gill Athletics Elite Pole Bag? I bought it and didn't realize it was 3 pieces so either way I face it, traveling in the rain will get water inside the bag. I'm wondering if anyone has it and has any trouble with water before I decide to send it back or not.

Thanks.

I do not have the gill bag however even the bags that I have that are two part can allow the poles to get damp. I have found that to protect the poles better and to make sure that they stay dry I put my poles inside a double lined corrugated drain pipe or a thin wall plastic drain pipe with caps on both ends and put that in the bag. adds a little weight but much more protection. I would check out the add cost of the pipe first before I sent it back.

I was able to find someone to donate the corrugated pipe... just need end caps.

Thanks for the suggestion. Very helpful and think it'll work out fine.
