Okay I graduated 2 years ago and was jumping on a 14' 158 and going 12'9" in regionals I snapped the pole and went to our 14' 160 pacer 3 (old pole I also weighed 145 and was 5'11) and went 13'3" But I always used a 7 step,, let me state that speed is key to the vault for one, I can't see your vault so are you bending the pole a lot? i can't imagine you holding at 11'8 on a 13' pole and bending it a lot being under the weight, I would move your run back on your current pole and hold higher, or get a taller 160 and choke down.

I moved back to a 5 step and cleared 11' by 8 or 9 inches. I was on a 13'6" 160 and I gripped 12'6." I started bending it to much to swing.
