Mystic Color

Gill Athletics is reworking their line of Mystic poles to better meet the needs of small vaulters. Do you think they should change the COLOR of the pole as well? Take the poll and leave your comments below.

If you don't know what I am talking about, this is a Mystic pole:

Is it really supposed to be red? I've always thought of it as more of an obnoxious pink color. The carbon mystics are way cooler. ;)

yeah, i've never viewed that color as "bright red"...more of a "bright obnoxious glaring hot pink"

I remember my teammate and I jumped on ancient Spirits and Pacers our first year in HS. We got 2 Mystics our second year and didn't like using them...we called them the "Barbie poles". And yeah, I think "Bright Red" is not the color at ALL....it's definitely hot pink.

Bright red is either what Gill named it, or their tape manufacturer named it. I agree that it doesn't look like bright red. I call it fugly pink, but that's just me :P

I could care less what they call it, I want to see the poles come out better looking. Something girls (or small guys!) can be proud to jump on.

What color do you think would work better?
I was thinking all black with simple white lettering

Personally i think that all poles should be pretty much plain colors, i used to find it distracting to have a bright pink pole. I think they should make them like pacers.
