Wanted to know what some you thought about this type of pole!

I prefer them. I just got comfortable with them. I'm sure I'd like another pole given enough time, but this is what I "grew up" with.

They are good sticks. However, so are all the other brands. I really have no brand loyalty, I jump on what I have at the time, and that's usually not a series of the same brand of pole.

I usually jump on Pacers but the one time I jumped on a spirit I PR'd! So maybe they are better.

Ive found that pacers and spirts are pretty much the same to me, I like them the best. Skypoles are heavier and unbend slower, and I don't like essex poles... thats just me everyones got their preference.

Skypoles are heavier than pacers and ucs...I would much rather have a larger diameter, lighter pole, then to sacrifice weight in order to make it a smaller diameter.

The spirit i jump on is really easy to bend, and its pretty light. I like to jump on them cause i think they are dependable. It seems like no matter how i feel, it can take what i give it and give me decent results. Unlike one or two other poles i jump on.

I think they should make the 12' poles in 5lb increments, but Steve Chappell disagrees :P

I have been using UCS since the start. I really like them, but I haven't really gotten to try any other poles, Pacer or Essex. I've tried a carbon fx once, and I liked it, but who knows.

I guess 2.2 lbs increments might be a NO too :D well ESSX has them

We think this time of the year 4.4 or 6.6 between poles is fine and as you get towards the end of the season then you can fine tune to 2.2 lbs

I prefer the Spirits

I've jumped on pacer, spirit, and the new pacer carbons and feel the carbons would be a great pole for someone with a wickedly quick swing leg. I on the other hand have a long straight swing and take more time getting inverted. My timing is better suited to the spirit which is slower bending and unbending with all the power of the pacer. The pacers seem to unbend to quickly causing my vault to be less than vertical. Timing the pull turn and shoot on a spirit seems much easier to me. Also they seem to have a more consistent bend to them. No surprises. I'll keep my spirits.
