New kinds of Pole Material?

I was wondering if there was any other kinds of material that has been tested to see if it could be used for pv poles.
Other than the past and present kinds ( wood, aluminum, fiberglass, carbon ).

Is there any being tested other then what Gill has just recently produced?

Has Graphite ever been used?

NEW material or just a new way to use old material

Most material has been around for a long time.
DO you call it new material if you have asked for old material to be woven different?
The key is what you hybrid it with, or blend it with , and most recently how we applied it within the ESSX poles to our new designs tested this week at the round-up with total success.
Poles 20% lighter in carry weight on world class poles.

NO New glass material just a more efficient scientific way of building a pole.

QUADRA Helix ESSX Carbons poles are working great.

The theme of the new ESSX pole is

“The beauty and the efficiency of the double pendulum cannot be interrupted by a carbon pole that returns to vertical faster than the timing of the vaulters swing and the poleswing.

Gill has not produced a new material, they have just come up with a new method of wrapping it.

I wonder if there will be any other kind of material used in the future.

I've heard that there are scientists in religious temples around the world attempting to use air as a means of gaining lift. Perhaps aerodynamics is the next wave of flight. Hmmmmm.
