The new carbons are going to be 25% lighter than UCS and the new carbon maked them bend similar to the UCS. the old carbons used to return quicker and this created problems, the new carbon has fixed this

That's funny, I don't remember them comparing them to the Spirit poles at the Symposium.

The new poles are definitely lighter than the old carbons. I didn't see any Spirit poles laying around to compare them to, so I can't say for sure if they are lighter than Spirit

They also mentioned they adjusted the timing a bit. They didn't say anything about trying to make the timing match another brand of pole, just trying to make it better.

Coach Attig was there and thats what he said, not that they are trying to make it exactly like UCS just make the timing better closer to the UCS, meaning returning later, and rolling over better.

you have to be invited to the syposium not just anyone can go. i was talking to derek miles and he said that the bigger the pole the lighter it will become when comparing it to the old pacer. He said they were able to make the sail piece lighter so the bigger the pole the bigger the sail piece therefore more weight will be taken off

Even the 13' poles felt a LOT lighter, so it must be great for the big guys.

BOOOOOOOO.

I hate the way spirits react. I'm all about the current pacer action.

I prefer spirit poles. I tried pacer a few times and other poles as well, and went straight back to spirit
