i took this entire summer off from doing anything physical because i got pretty sick. i'm going to be vaulting again in about a week and a half but i'm not sure which pole to start off on first. my biggest pole last year running from 7 lefts was a 14' 145 spirit. i think i lost some arm strength and some speed from not doing anything at all. so which pole do you think i should start off on from about 3-4 lefts?

whatever pole fits that run at that particular time...youll be going up in poles as you get in the swing of things...maybe you should start at like 2 steps first and get goin with your pole runs and slide boxes

I always start off doing a lot of one hand drils and pop ups. then I move to 2 lefts and use a 13'3" 185 this pole on this pole I'm only gripping 6-12" higher than on a pop up. then work back from there.
So I don't know what pole this would be specificaly for you. just start out with drills and after a day or two go to your shortest run/lowest hand hold that you have used last year and progress back into your form.
