I have I skydex box at the high school I coach at, and I can tell you the thing is a piece of garbage. I am begging my athletic director to have the thing replaced with aluminum. Every coach in the county refuses to jump at my school for a good reason. the box itself is large but there is a nasty lip on the front of the box that makes an early plant dangerous. I have to spend a rigorous amount of time teaching my kids the pole drop. It feels weird going to other schools where an early plant is not an instant wipe out. Please heed my warning and buy a box that is flush with the runway. The soft box comes made with a lip that only gets worse over time as the plastic warps.
