Ya know...........its kinda ironic that 2 pole manufac are regulars on this board..........I am a tech sales rep and never (ok almost never) hear the words "I saw ya on the board and want a deal". Give it a try........you might be surprised.

Yea but see your friends w/Becca........and I have already hooked her up once. She needs a good line of FX's and less time on the keys and she will be a FORCE. Why........because she has the LOVE and DRIVE. Of couse that cannot take the place of talent (no offense, I have never seen her jump) but it can go a L O N G way!!

Haha you hooked my high school up... I am not strong enough to use a 13'6" 165 yet :dazed:

And I do come up a bit short in the talent department... I was a solid 6 foot vaulter my first season... got up to 7-6 that summer. If I had gone from my small high school to a small college, I would have kept kicking butt... but as a 7-6 vaulter, I did not take vaulting into consideration when I applied eary decision to UF. Didn't know I would keep improving...

Oh well, if I had been vaulting all along in college, I don't know if I ever would have gotten this website up.

GOOD POINT!!!!! Of couse, as Bruce has noted b 4 the right pole/poles can make a TON of difference!! What is your actual (how long have you been vaultin not countin off season/pre season etc) age in the sport??

I started vaulting spring of 99 (my junior year). Vaulted all spring, summer, and only had about 2 months off before I found Steve Marshalek's original indoor facility. So I vaulted fall, winter, spring, summer of my senior year (99-00). Then I got to college and did not get to vault.

Started vaulting again that summer and forgot how to do it. I had to start over and got back up to 10-3. Vaulted that next fall/winter/spring at a high school in Florida, that summer back home.

Vaulted this year at UGA, but didn't vault much in the fall because of an injury... umm yeah. I am getting better, just haven't done what I need to in a meet I guess.

So I don't know how many vaulting years that is.

As for poles, I own one Pacer. It is an 11'6" 120, and I crush it from 3 lefts :P The rest are 12' and 13' Spirits.

My coach up here in Bellingham has a series of older 12'6" Pacers. I tried them one day in practice, but they felt too different... They were a lot skinnier than my Spirits, and felt heavier. I know the newer Mystics and whatnot feel better.

At school we have all Spirits except for our 13'6" carbon Ms Stics. It would be fun to try a whole series of 13' carbons, or better yet, 12'6" carbons :P But I think my poles are fine. When you have a whole series of poles, and only need one or two to fill a gap, it is easier to do that than get a whole new series.

Oh my gosh I will shut up... I am boring myself

By the Indy state Fair - poles shold be back from San Juan - the Wookie would only have about 60 or so poles at his disposal - Brian - we really do need to finish the list
