Question my boy vaulter has busted 2 tips in 2 weeks I was thinking he was just hitting the box hard...good plant bad plant....but then yesterday I tried to make my yearly comeback then I blew my tip. Would having a old hard metal box be part of the problem. I have never had tips break like this before do you guys have any ideas on why this is happeing and what can we do to prevent it.

If there is something weird about the box, that could be part of the problem. If it is always the same pole, take off the plug and see if it looks particularly sharp. You could always file it down if needed.
